DESCRIPTION The Bible Institute was started in 2007 as an attempt to provide in depth Bible study for Christian leaders. Mision Caribe saw the need for Christian training. There are several Christian leaders and pastors who are currently serving and gifted in the area of evangelism but have not received any Biblical training. OBJECTIVE Train and equip God’s workers for Christian service and Ministry.
METHODOLOGY The classes meet 4 hours, 3 days a week. The students are evaluated through homework, tests, memory verses and participation in class. Each student receives a certificate of completion at the end of the semester. Not only do we want to provide training for our churches but also other churches in the area.
First Semester (Spring 2007) For 16 weeks we met with 13 students from 3 different churches to study Old Testament History I and Foundations for Missions. We experienced how powerful the Word of God is. It is amazing to see how his word changes our lives and the lives of those around. We have expanded our knowledge of the Bible, shared what God has been teaching us along the way, had times of fellowship, prayed together, used our creativity and intelligence, and made new friends!
Second Semester Fall 2007 We currently have 15 students meeting for classes on Old Testament History II, The Gospel of Luke, and Acts I.
