San Lorenzo is a community village that is two hours away from the city, where access is difficult but possible in a vehicle. There are about 60 houses in the village. Fifteen houses have already been abandoned. The families are immigrating to the city looking for better job opportunities. The inhabitants of San Lorenzo rely on agriculture to survive. They don’t have the capacity or favorable conditions to sell their products; they can only survive on what they plant. There is one elementary school with one teacher to teach every grade, no high school; one health clinic, no medicine available. For transportation only one bus goes from the village to the city every day.
