Evangelism
Mision Caribe is making an impact the lives of the Hondurans and furthering the Kingdom. We are working daily to minister to the people of Honduras through many different programs. With the help of Short-Term Missionaries and our staff, we are going out into the world and preaching to all nations.
House Calling
Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. -James 5:14
There are several people and elderly homes that we visit. Short Term Missionaries are able to share their favorite verses with the lost or bring encouragement to our brothers and sisters in Christ. We lead a short devotional with them and pray for their physical and spiritual needs. They enjoy the company and we enjoy learning from them. This is a great way to meet people and experience the culture of Honduras.

Movie Ministry
As a treat to the children, we take Christian movies out into their villages and have a movie night. Until recently, La Victoria didn’t have the privilage of electricity, so this is a special event. We have even made slide shows of Short Term Missionary teams and show them interacting with the kids. Seeing themselves on the “Big Screen” brings pride and hope to these families.
School Outreach
We are taking education seriously at Mision Caribe. Lead by our staff, we teach English in public schools, as well as Bible stories. This outreach is largely effective in spreading the Word as the children return home to their parents and share what they learned in school. We have seen churches grow exponentially due to this ministry.
Feeding Program
The Feeding Program was started in Villa Franca in order to give school children a lunch. Food is hard to come by in what is known as one of the roughest neighborhoods in Tegucigalpa. Every Wednesday food is provided for 48-60 children and during the summer when mission teams are in town, they also enjoy short programs put on by the team.
